Charity
Project
This year
we are doing a memory quilt for the founder of our Quilt Retreat, Sharon
Landis. We have a seven inch bleached muslin square ready for you
to add strip pieces to one half. You will sign on the other half.
Please bring strips in earth tones (blue, green, brown, yellow,
and orange). The strips should not be larger than 2 1/2" or
smaller than 1 1/4" in width. The strips should range in length
from around 3" - 10". Five strips per person should give lots of
variety and there is not much time involved to complete this. The
directions will be available Fri. evening and you are asked to return
the signed block on Saturday. Mary Saulen will then assemble the
blocks.
See photos
of the Holy
Grounds Quilts which have been made and auctioned to raise money
for the Methodist Church Camps.
