What to bring to camp

You should bring the following things to camp with you. If you can think of things I should add (especially you camp 'veterans'), please e-mail me, dkerr@stonevalleyquilting.com, and I'll add them to the list.

  • Show and tell - please bring any projects you'd like to share - old or new. If you attended last year, bring last year's project. It's great fun to see what others have done.
  • Music - We don't all have the same music tastes and some come to camp for quiet time. If you like to listen to music while you quilt, please bring a personal music player and a headset/earbuds.
  • Hair dryer, comb, brush, etc.
  • Pillow
  • Towels and wash cloth
  • Sleeping bag or bedding
  • Mattress pad (the mattresses are HARD)
  • Map
  • Flashlight
  • Boots
  • Deodorant
  • Comfy cloths (no fashion show!)
  • PJs
  • Sweater or sweatshirt
  • Jacket (water proof)
  • Camera
  • Snacks to share (there will be a fridge and hot water in each lodge)
  • Bible
  • Pen or pencil
  • Umbrella
  • Sewing supplies (machine, light, iron, ironing board, scissors, pins, needles, thread, measuring tape, stitch remover, cutting mat, rotary cutter, rulers, power strip/extension cord, seat cushion, etc.)
